At HFL Education our mission is to support schools and settings to ensure that ALL learners receive a great education and thrive in terms of the progress they make and the outcomes they attain. This includes learners from underserved and minoritised groups who often perform less well than their more advantaged peers.
We know that the disadvantage gap (in terms of outcomes for pupils eligible for Pupil Premium funding) is significant nationally and has been persistent at each key stage for many years. The teams at HFL Education, supported by Herts County Council, have therefore been particularly committed to ensuring that they provide a range of services, products, consultancy, support and training aimed at closing this gap in Hertfordshire and beyond.
In recent years we have seen encouraging signs of the gap reducing, and at a faster rate than nationally.
